Adventures 4 Couples offers healthy and fun ways to make magic memories. We arrange activities and dinners for couples to make it easier to get out and experience new horizons together.

 | DAYLIGHT SAVING DEVONPORT EXCURSION A really neat day enjoyed by everyone. 7 of us set out from Dinsdale in 2 cars ( 1 member travelling under his own steam from Hamilton did not make it up – that’s real estate for you ! ) With lots of cheek & not too many wrong turns we made it to the parking building downtown Auckland. On the wharf we met the film crew & others joining in, travelled across to Devonport on a beautiful afternoon & met more members on the Devonport side. The film crew did not interfere a lot, they mainly focused on ‘Sharon’ the star of the event, but bystanders were very curious about who we were. We scattered a bit perusing the array of quaint shops in Devonport, many of whom had remained open because we had forewarned them of the BBC film crew. The possibility of overseas exposure obviously an attractive prospect. We then all had a very delicious meal at ‘Manuka’ restaurant before catching the ferry back, by which time all the lights were out. A very pretty & romantic sight. Then home for us all. We are looking forward to a DVD of this which we will arrange to show you all. This may not be until early 2010.
|  | MOUNTAIN & SPA WEEKEND - "Out In The Styx" Maungatautari is predator fenced and is home to many native species. It offers great opportunities to walk & climb in unspoiled natural bush, rich in birdlife. A weekend away with wonderful food & plenty of options to walk, climb, soak in spa pools, relax or all of these. All who went thoroughly enjoyed the experience & close friendships were forged. A member from BOP acted as co-ordinator, as neither myself or the other hostesses could attend. This will be worth doing again. |  |
ETHNIC DINING in Tauranga - "TALK OF INDIA" This restaurant was recommended by a member, and a good choice. Our numbers were small with an equal representation from both sexes, and we had a really nice night. Good conversation, yummy food which we all shared, and very friendly service.
